Several folks around (like Mrs G and Melanie) have posted great songs lately. Here's another one. Growing up we didn't have a TV until I was 16 (!) and when we finally got one, I of course went a little nuts and spent the entire summer watching Dukes of Hazzard reruns until my eyes just about popped out of my head. Love it. Love the Duke boys. They still make me swoon after all these years. And it's a genuinely awesome song. Enjoy!

Oh.My.God. You didn't have a TV either? We got one when I was 14 and we too gathered around the TV watching the Dukes of Hazard and what was that detective show with James Garner? And Magnum PI.
I thought Bo was so cute...and Red Eagle chopped a pair of red jeans off to make Daisy Duke shorts and wore them around with wedgies sandals. Our Mom was so cool - she just rolled her eyes a little tiny bit and said NOTHING. Although, I know now, that had to be the hardest thing to do EVER!
LOVE IT! I had totally forgotten about that! Thanks for the post.
Such good old boys, never meanin' no harm.
I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and this and the show Dallas were some of the highlights of my childhood.
How is it that I turned out normal considering Daisy and Charlie's Angels were my greatest female role models?
Oh that's just PERFECT. I haven't seen that in ages (sad but tis true).
The General Lee is one of my Middle son's heros!
I love me some Dukes!
