Art + technology = More art

We may be the last house in North America, but we finally got a scanner. (Jeff would cringe at my calling us late adopters, but the fact is between perfectionism and procrastination that is what we are. But in our heads? EARLY adopters, dude. Totally.)

My brain is buzzing with all the new things I can share now. 1970s baby pictures! Eighties awkward adolescent bad fashion pictures! Maybe I will even draw you a PICTURE! I can hardly stand it.

Here is the very tame, proof-of-concept warmup to the Whopping Cornbread Scanner Era. Are you ready? It's a New Yorker cartoon. Jeff is all, you have to put this on your blog. The guy? That's me (Jeff really loves me, he thinks that I am famous). The girl? That's Jeff. Or my dissertation committee.

Oh wow that cartoon is seriously brilliant. I'm gonna have to print it out and paste it on my fridge.

Gosh, you are so clever! I have had a scanner for ages, never once used it. Can't fathom it.

Awesome, love the cartoon. And now you can realize my dream and archive all of your old photos and kid art. Just kiddin! You have to keep blogging for your fans, no time for that (or at least that's what I keep tellin myself).

How very cool! I need to learn more about using the scanner I've had for some time now. Perhaps watching your progress will help motivate me?

Thanks for visiting Small Reflections yesterday and leaving a comment so I could find you today. I'll return when time permits to get better acquainted.
Hugs and blessings,

I'm impressed that you have successfully used it. I can only scan when one of my kids is home to roll their eyes at my cluelessness and do it for me.

Welcome to technology, baby.

At least you know how to use yours! I still have to shamefully ask Mr. Farklepants.

No, you're not the last to get a scanner. I am! I still don't have one. I do use my very expensive camera to take pictures of my old 70's photos and of cartoons. It works. I do, however, have a birthday coming up. Hmmmm . . . .

FUN! I'll be checking back for those 70's photos.
