Eagle

I took this picture this weekend on a walk in the city. I know they are not endangered anymore,
but still, what a treat. The weather too, eh? Spring may be springing.

Bub, still developing his flair for the dramatic, reacted to the majestic animal:

You didn't wake him? ha ha My poor kids...I've gotten them up from slumber so many times to see nature, meteors, you name it...

Whooo...what a handsome sleeping prince. Be careful who wakes him up...and yes, I have been through the "Oh, my God, look at this!", as they snoozed their way through life..and they were WAY older.

Wow -- that's a gorgeous picture. We have tons of eagles here, as we live right by the Mississippi River: I can see it while I type. I think they're beautiful too and never lose the appreciation. I heard a funny thing on MPR about how their resurgence has actually made them a bit of a pest in Alaska -- scavenging!
