Random randomness

I may have mentioned that I used a random word generator to name this blog. I did! Nothing saps my creativity like a clean slate, so this handy generator was how I got past my crippling angst on the Blogger "create blog" page.

Maybe one day I'll think up a better name for my blog. In fact, I was going to write a post about all the better, non-random names I have thought of since. (Risking My Significance is the only thing I have thought up so far, but oh! So serious! And possibly plagiarizing from this great poem) I still find that thinking of my blog name is a great way to make my mind go blank.

So anyway, I regenerated some adjectives and nouns just to see WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN if the angels of randomness had been in a different mood last August. Here's what they would say today:

Some Random Adjectives
old
unstable
rapid
invited

Some Random Nouns
pity
attachment
personnel
debugger

What do you think? Unstable Personnel? Rapid Attachment? Invited Debugger? Or did I get lucky with Whopping Cornbread?

What would your blog name be if you used this method to name yours
?

I don't have to use a word generator. It would have been Procrastination. Which, in fact, became the title of my first post.

Slightest Report...which isn't really bad. I like your name, it's unique and makes people wonder what the heck you are talking about!

Modifying Scrim. Okay, but not the caliber of Whopping Cornbread, which is The Best.

Thinking of my first name nearly did me in.

But I keep meaning to ask you - does your blog name lead you to look for THE recipe of all recipes for cornbread?

Because I would probably spend hours baking batch after batch and completely neglecting everything else. (gee, maybe me blog name is in there somewhere...)

Okay ... I might have to change it now ... We Be Reading will be "Accomplished God". Or is that a bit much?

I used the word generator and came up with Dappled Antipathy! I love your site name - don't change it.

I put your site on my blogroll since I love it so much!

"Domestic Void." How does it know? HOW DOES IT KNOW?

I think it somehow knew with Whopping Cornbread, too. But what did it know, exactly?

I love the name "Whopping Cornbread". I'll have to check the word generator and see what it comes up with for me. I don't like the name of my blog, but considering I didn't and still don't know what I am doing, it will probably stay for a while.

I love Whopping Cornbread!
Mine might be
Is that a noun or an adjective?

I decided to use an adverb/verb combination and came up with

Avidly Rubbernecking.

Which I think would be a fairly fun name for a blog, except that I HATE rubbernecking.

Noncorroding Hydrogenation.

Uh, hello? Does it know that I absolutely did not understand one word of chemistry in high school?

(Those are chemistry words, right?)

And I like Whopping Cornbread. Always have. Always will. :) So get over it, Nora! I say it's time to "own it!"

Executed Laughing

I'm gonna stick with my name that was a result of another blogger's recipe that I had printed out on my desk that day.

I'm down with Whopping Cornbread though. I find that people just don't discuss cornbread enough.

Smudgy Crevasse. (Ew.)

Don't go changing. I think you lucked out enormously on Whopping Cornbread, which is damn catchy.

Mac! "Executed Laughing" LOLOL!!!

First of all Nora, I LOVE Whopping Cornbread. For some reason that I cannot fathom, it's very easy to remember. I wish I could come up with something random that works as well. Keep whopping cornbread :)

My results with the generator:
worldwide termination -I think I like this one! :D
Unbounded sourdough - Should be your sister blog
Fatherless clothesline - For single or orphaned or widowed women
