Kind of charming, eh? I swear none of these photos were posed. He has been clutching it for days, and pity the fool who tries to take it away from him.
Here is the precious thing itself (aren't you jealous he found it first?). Shouldn't be too hard to spot as we go about our daily activities:
Hanging out with dad:
Don't touch my spoon, lady.
Eating:
On a walk:
Playing:
On the changing table:
And because the internet really needs a photo of my b##bies, he won't even let go of the spoon for the Amazing Nursing Adventure, aka The Best Thing Ever:

I love me some Bubba! Don't tell him what the wooden spoon was used for in my childhood: ass whipping. They still kind of make me shiver. But Bubba sweetens them up.
What a sweetie! Thanks for sharing the photos. He is beautiful and I love his prized possession.
Oh my -- that's about the sweetest set of pictures, ever. Makes me baby-weepy again (and the first couple of years were decidedly not my favorite stage). I wonder how the relationship with the spoon will unfold. . .
ahhh I LOVE my spoon!
I couldn't love that picture of him sleeping with the spoon any more if I tried. Darling.
Yikes, the spoon was for spanking at my house growing up! Glad he redeemed it for me. My Hobbes latched onto a huge plastic T-Rex that he loves to sleep with. Ouch!
Priceless! That is just hilarious that he won't even let go of it for nursing - LOL! That last picture just melted me into a puddle *sigh* : )
That's hysterical! Such a sweet photo series. He's getting cuter. (Is that possible?)
I'm catching up on my blog reading and THIS is way too funny! I love the pictures and the whole entry! :)
