I went to the eye doctor, and finally (FINALLY!) someone takes me seriously about how much I hate the blazing sunlight here in the Arctic Circle where the sun never climbs high into the sky so always shines directly into your eyes and there is less pollution haze and humidity to dilute it. It was a paid interaction, after all (as the door hits my health insurance's #ss on it's way out)--he does have an interest in nodding sympathetically and scribbling notes ("what a pansy, can't stand the two darn months of sunlight we have here blah blah blah here let's draw a big smiley face, no a flower, no a big bloodshot eyeball crying tears of sadness for Nora").
But I digress. Completely apart from my sunlight allergy, I also happen, apparently, to have some CLOUDY OIL coming from my eyes. Cloudy! Not clear! Causing dry, irritated eyes. One of his recommendations?

Who knew?!
My eyes are kind of sore now. I wonder if it's in sympathy, or from viewing those freakishly large mannish thumbs?
I think I might need those! No, seriously. I have horribly dry eyes and an aversion to sunlinght! I'm going to try them. Did he prescribe you anything in addition to the eyelid scrubbers?
Whatever works.
The sunshine allergy thing sounds totally legit to me.
Rima--He also suggested a pair of drugstore magnifier glasses (+1) while working at the computer (just for an hour at a time) and we are switching brands of contacts to see if that helps.

:-)
My younger son couldn't stand bright light when he was little. I called him Mr. Squinty.
Good luck.
You know, no offense, but your thumbs are kind of large. I wonder if we could get a picture at a different angle? I feel it is necessary to investigate this further.
For God's sake, I have never heard about eye lid washers. I am glad that your eyes are feeling better.
Sunlight does bother mine, and I am just a bit south of you and we both know that there is not much light for many months of the year in the PNW.
I hesitate to mention that dry eyes do come with advancing age...I know that you have many, many years before that "advancement". I was totally unprepared for the glued together, totally dry eyelids in the morning that came with the, you know, change of life! Jeeze. (Forget the words "you know", because no one knows until life's little hormonal devils start screwing with you.)
Thanks as always for the visit. Hugs to Bubba!
I have wimpy little girl thumbs, so I am in AWE.
I had an infected eyelash follicle once. Good times.
Wow, I didn't know these existed... see what a fountain of information you are (it must be the PhD).
I think I want those. I was having issues earlier in the year when the pollen was really bad, I felt like my eyes were blurry for weeks....maybe oily film?
LOL! I'm guessing my doctor's chart notes about me look pretty similar to yours ;)
Hello. And Bye.
good day bros. I'm honestly into shoes and I had been looking for that singular brand. The prices for the sneakers are about 220 pounds everwhere. But definitively I base this site selling them for the benefit of half price. I absolutely love those gucci sneakers. I will absolutely buy them. what can you say about it?
good morning everyone. I'm really into shoes and I was digging for the sake of that exact make. The prices seeking the velcros are around 350 bucks on every page. But definitively I found this site selling them for the benefit of half price. I really want those gucci sneakers. I will definetly purchase these. what is your opinion?
