LOL that is just so sweet!!! Garbagemen (sanitation engineers) get such a bad rap...but if they didn't pick up our garbage, well I hate to think about it. I'm old enough to remember taking trips to the dump with my Dad on a Saturday...wonder why children have such a fascination with that?
Awww this brings back sweet memories of my oldest son when he was about 2 years old. Every Monday morning he was planted at the big front window at the first sound of the garbage truck. Have your son the video "There Goes a Garbage Truck"? You totally should.
Yes, big trucks are irresistible! My grandson loved them. I won't tell you what my nephew used to call them. Suffice it to say that he would yell in a voice that anyone within a half a mile could hear, "Here comes the big *#ck!" My son at 3 and 1/2 who was allowed to ride his little tricycle in our driveway (think years ago when it was safe in the Missouri country) was fascinated with the postman. He would repeatedly tell the him, "My mother wants you to come in for coffee." It's redeeming to say that I had already delivered our second son and no other children were expected and none arrived. Whew! (there's no captcha (?) here, don't know if this will work..it's Ellen) p.s. and excuse my language, now it works.

Anything better than big trucks? Nope.
I always wonder if the garbagemen know how famous they are to thousands of little boys in this country...

Thanks for visiting :-)
The garbage collectors were definitely a favorite with my boys.
What could be more interesting than garbage men? The compression machine on the back of the truck, sounds, action. Oh to be young again!
Sienna screams when the trucks come down our road. I'm thinking she's all girl.
Love the pics.
Classic. Love it!
HA! Too cute. I love the wave in the end.
Love this! We are all about the GUCKS in our house. I think garbage men who wave are saintly.

Irresistible in our house, too.

Too cute!
Whenever my two year old sees construction, garbage or recycle trucks he says "Me! Me!" as in "I want to drive one of those!"

Lol! This is the best!
Oh, I remember those days so well. Enjoy!
LOVE the title of this post. My kids used to live for the garbage man.
Yes, we have been star struck for that vehicle, too!
Hot damn.
They did get his autograph??
